Opening Tuesday 10th November

β€Ό*CUSTOMER NOTICE* β€Ό

I am pleased to announce that I will be reopening on Tuesday 10th November!

The Governments website has been updated to include a reference to pet grooming during the second lockdown in England. It states: Animal grooming facilities may also stay open but must only be used for the purposes of the animal’s welfare (and not for aesthetic purposes). I consider aesthetic purposes to be services such as creative grooming, facials, nail painting, and fur-dyeing. These activities will not be undertaken during lockdown.

I have had written confirmation from both APHA (Animal and Plant Health Agency) and a Trading Standards Practitioner for North Tyneside Council, which confirm under the new Regulations I am allowed to remain open, provided I can do so safely to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Whilst I anticipate the demand for dog grooming will be severely affected (for numerous reasons) I would like to reassure my customers that Trading Standards also wrote the following ‘The Regulations provides no person may be outside the place where they live without reasonable excuse. One such reason is for a person to attend to the care of or exercise of a pet.’

With COVID19 there are no guarantees, however, I have sought guidance from all the relevant authorities and I am 100% confident I can meet all of the governments regulations and more. Customers health and safety is paramount to the work that i carry out.

On arrival you will be required to remove your collar and lead and take it with you. Using one of my leads which will be connected to the exterior wall, attach it to your dog, ring the bell then step back behind the marker provided. Your dog will then be sprayed with a non toxic anti-viral spray prior to entering the salon. Same process for collection.

The groom will be carried out in full PPE. Once the groom is complete and the handover has taken place, the salon must be totally cleaned and disinfected top to bottom before the next dog to minimise the risk of spread from household to household.

Contactless card payments will be accepted. If you wish to pay by cash no change will be given. Monies must be placed into tub provided.

I will have strict measures in place, one being appointment and collection times, it is really important that you adhere to the times given as I do not want any customers coming into contact with each other.

Thank you all for your loyalty and I can’t wait to see you all again 😊

To book an appointment please call/message on 07944335624.

Stay Safe

Re-opening Date – Monday 18th May

Monday 18th May!

β€Ό*CUSTOMER NOTICE* β€Ό

I am pleased to announce that I will be re- opening on Monday 18th May!

Thank you everyone for your patience and support throughout this difficult worrying time. I understand that you will all be desperate to get your dogs groomed but I need you to appreciate that I have a back log of dogs to get through. I am currently putting a list together of people who are wanting their dogs groomed, starting with the ones that were booked in prior to lockdown. I will get in touch with you all individually with dates/times available. I have a lot to get through and I will do my best!
If you would like to be added to the list then just comment below.

I will under no circumstances be dematting , if your dog is matted then they will be clipped short and grown back into your desired style, under the animal welfare act it is my duty to make your dog comfortable and matt free ….humanity before vanity!

On arrival you will be required to remove your collar and lead and take it with you, then using one of my leads which will be connected to the wall, attach it to your dog, ring the bell then step back behind the marker provided. Your dog will then be sprayed with a non toxic anti-viral spray prior to entering the salon. Same process for collection.

Once the dog is complete the salon must be totally cleaned and disinfected top to bottom before the next dog to minimise the risk of spread from household to household. The groom will be carried out in full PPE. The time taken and cost of this would either have to be absorbed by the business or costed to the customer. Therefore prices will be going up by Β£2 only per visit (not per dog).

Card payments are still accepted. If you wish to pay by cash no change will be given. Monies must be placed into tub provided.

I will have strict measures in place, one being appointment and collection times, it is really important that you adhere to the times given as I do not want any customers coming into contact with each other.

Lastly, please read the grooming policies below.

Thank you all for your loyalty and I can’t wait to see you all again 😊
